Tallahassee, FL – Legal Aid Foundation’s Mobile Law Clinic (Clinic) for Promise Zone residents, scheduled this Wednesday evening, March 26, will also offer a Free Finance Forum held by Envision Credit Union, which will be held by Kellie Merck, CCUFC, Community Development Manager for Envision. Both events start at 5:30 p.m., and will be held in separate rooms, at the Smith-Williams Services Center, 2295 Pasco St.
Legal advice and counseling will be provided for Leon County residents living within the following zip codes: 32301, 32303, 32304, 32305, 32307 and 32310. Residents must also meet required financial levels and civil case matters to receive aid at this event. Civil case matters are within these areas: family law, expungement, foreclosure, landlord/tenant properly, probate, small claims (under $8,000) and wills.
Financial advice and counseling will be provided for any residents interested in understanding credit reports and scores. This service will be offered by Envision again on July 23 and Oct. 22 along with LAF’s Mobile Law Clinics.
